Meet the Staff

Merle’s Music is home to several very talented musicians.  No matter what you need, there’s someone on Merle’s staff who can help you. Meet “The Five Fellows” of Merle’s Music: Merle, Jeremy, Travis, Kamron & Josh.

Merle Alderson

Merle Alderson has owned Merle’s Music since 2006 when he purchased it from Larry Woolf, who opened Rolla’s first music store in August of 1988. Just a year later, in August of 1989, Merle became Woolf Music’s first employee. When Larry Woolf decided to retire, Merle went from employee to owner.  Merle has been a musician for more years than he cares to say and currently plays lead guitar and sings lead for local blues band, Pseudo Blues. No matter what you need, there’s someone on Merle’s staff who can help you.
