Merle Alderson has owned Merle’s Music since 2006 when he purchased it from Larry Woolf, who opened Rolla’s first music store in August of 1988. Just a year later, in August of 1989, Merle became Woolf Music’s first employee. When Larry Woolf decided to retire, Merle went from employee to owner. Merle has been a musician for more years than he cares to say and currently plays lead guitar and sings lead for local blues band, Pseudo Blues.
